Hi.

I’m the Brides’ Maid and I’ve helped my fair share of Brides.

I grew up in a family where my parents owned two successful Bridal Shops.  I started going to fashion shows at 13,  started assisting Brides when I was just 14 and designed my first bridal gown that went into production at age 16.  I have been around the world going to fashion shows, rubbing shoulders with top designers and helping them with the design process.  While assisting Brides with their dresses, I was usually roped into being their free wedding planner and would have Brides stay for hours as I helped design their weddings with them.  I have helped with every type of wedding from Hindu to Mormon and everything in between.  $400 budget for the whole wedding?  Yeah, I designed one of those too and I’ll be honest, it was one of my favorites.

I’ve been in numerous Bridal and Fashion Magazines and was actually on the cover of one.  I’ve been invited on news and entertainment shows to talk about weddings and the different trends that are big for that year.  After being featured on blogs I thought “why don’t I just do my own”?

I promise I’m not saying this to be bragish (I hate reading blogs like that) I’m saying this so that you know that you can trust me.  I have the credentials and I know what I’m talking about.

This blog is a fun way for me to share some secrets of the wedding industry, things and brands that are tried and true, things that I LOVE and things that I’m not too fond of.  I might even throw in a story or two of some CRAZY Brides, Mothers and Bridesmaids I have encountered along the way (oohh, the stories I could tell).  Feel free to ask any question you might have and I would be more than happy to help you with it!
